The "Italy with Lanny" tour left Placerville, California on May 2, 2011 in two small buses, bound for the San Francisco airport. From there we flew to Rome, with a plane change in London. Our return on May 17 was the same in reverse, except we started at Zurich, Switzerland. A large bus took us to various locations between Rome and Zurich (see map below).
